Eat, Drink, and Be Charitable at Taste of the Nation

Join Mary Sue and Susan and Share Our Strength on Sunday, June 24, 2007 for Taste of the Nation, a day of extraordinary cuisine from L.A.'s hottest restaurants. This fantastic tasting event takes place at Media Park in Culver City from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. with all ticket sales going to help create a hunger-free generation.

Take a walk in the park and enjoy delicious tastes from Border Grill, Ciudad, and many more while sipping champagne, cocktails, and fine wines from around the world. Mary Sue and Susan are proud to partner with the California Avocado Commission at this year’s event, so be sure to stop by the Border Grill/Ciudad booth and sample bites featuring California avocados. Border Grill will be serving Smoked Bean and Avocado Tostadas and Ciudad will serve Avocado and Three Corn Salad.

It’s all to raise funds for Share Our Strength’s fight against hunger and poverty in Los Angeles County and beyond with the ultimate goal of creating a hunger-free generation. Tickets are $95 per person in advance and $105 at the event, $25 for kids ages 6 to 15, and children under 6 are free. A special VIP package is available for $150.
