Instructions
- Dissolve 1 teaspoon sugar and 2¼ teaspoons yeast in 1¼ cups warm water between 105–115°F. Allow the mixture to become foamy for 5–10 minutes.
- Whisk 3 cups flour and 1 teaspoon salt in a separate mixing bowl. Pour in the yeast liquid and 2 tablespoons olive oil, mixing until a cohesive dough forms.
- Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead vigorously for 8–10 minutes until your dough becomes smooth and elastic.
- Grease a large bowl with olive oil and place your dough inside. Cover with a clean kitchen towel and let it rise in a warm spot for 1–1.5 hours until the volume doubles.
- Whisk 2 tablespoons olive oil, 4 minced garlic cloves, 2–3 finely chopped red chilies, ¼ cup soy sauce, 2 tablespoons honey, 1 tablespoon rice vinegar, 1 teaspoon sesame oil, and salt and pepper in a mixing bowl.
