Description

Creamy Tuscan Marry Me Chicken will have your dinner guests begging for the recipe after just one bite. Packed with sun-dried tomatoes, spinach, and a rich parmesan cream sauce, this dish guarantees instant recipe romance at your table.

Ingredients

Scale

Protein:

  • 2 lbs organic chicken breasts

Seasonings:

  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 2 tsp All-Purpose “On Everything” Seasoning Blend
  • 1½ Tbsp Tuscan “Marry Me” seasoning blend

Sauce and Accompaniments:

  • 4 Tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1½ cups organic heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken stock or broth
  • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 3 Tbsp white cooking wine
  • 1 Tbsp tomato paste
  • 12 cups grape or cherry tomatoes
  • 1 cup chopped kale
  • ½ lemon

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken by coating 2 lbs of chicken breasts with 2 Tbsp olive oil, 1 tsp sea salt, and 2 tsp seasoning blend. Allow the meat to marinate for 5-10 minutes at room temperature.
  2. Heat a large skillet to medium-high (375°F). Melt 4 Tbsp butter and sauté 4 minced garlic cloves for 1-2 minutes until aromatic.
  3. Sear the seasoned chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Move the chicken to a separate plate.
  4. Reduce skillet heat to medium (350°F). Add 1 Tbsp olive oil and 1½ Tbsp Tuscan seasoning. Stir in 1 Tbsp tomato paste.
  5. Pour 1½ cups heavy cream, 1 cup chicken stock, 3 Tbsp white wine, and ½ lemon’s juice into the skillet. Let the mixture bubble for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Whisk 1 cup parmesan cheese into the sauce until completely melted and smooth.
  7. Add 1 cup chopped kale and 1-2 cups halved tomatoes to the sauce. Return chicken to the skillet.
  8. Simmer the entire dish at 325°F for 15-20 minutes, occasionally spooning sauce over the chicken until it reaches 165°F internal temperature.

Notes

  • Marinate chicken for extra flavor by letting it sit in seasoning for up to 30 minutes before cooking.
  • For a lighter version, swap heavy cream with half-and-half or coconut milk and use skinless chicken breasts.
  • Create a gluten-free option by using cornstarch instead of flour for thickening and checking seasoning blend ingredients.
  • Garnish with fresh basil or parsley to brighten the dish and add a fresh herb note that complements the creamy sauce.
