Description

Buffalo Chicken Dip brings sizzling party vibes straight to your table with zero fuss. Creamy, zesty, and totally addictive, this crowd-pleasing appetizer delivers maximum flavor in minimal time.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds boneless chicken breast
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 12 ounces bottle hot sauce

Supporting Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 2 jars Marie’s Chunky Blue Cheese Dressing

Instructions

  1. Submerge 2 pounds of boneless chicken breasts in water and boil for exactly 20 minutes until fully cooked through. Remove chicken and drain completely.
  2. Shred the boiled chicken using two forks, creating thin, even strands.
  3. Pour entire 12 oz. bottle of Frank’s hot sauce over shredded chicken and mix thoroughly until chicken is completely coated.
  4. Let chicken marinate in hot sauce for at least 30 minutes, preferably overnight in the refrigerator for deeper flavor absorption.
  5. Preheat your oven to 350°F, ensuring rack is centered.
  6. In a mixing bowl, blend 2 jars of Marie’s Chunky Blue Cheese Dressing with 8 oz. cream cheese until smooth.
  7. Fold in 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese into the creamy mixture.
  8. Transfer the mixture into a 13 x 9 inch baking dish or two 8 x 8 inch pans.
  9. Sprinkle remaining 1 cup of cheddar cheese evenly across the top of the dip.
  10. Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes until cheese is melted and surface appears golden and bubbly.

Notes

  • Chicken breasts can be replaced with rotisserie chicken to save time and add extra flavor.
  • For a lighter version, swap full-fat cream cheese and dressing with low-fat alternatives.
  • Marinating the chicken in hot sauce overnight intensifies the tangy buffalo taste and keeps the meat tender.
  • Serve this dip with crisp celery sticks, tortilla chips, or warm crusty bread for different textures and serving options.
