Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken breasts with 2 tablespoons olive oil, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon paprika, salt, pepper, and juice from half a lemon. Let sit for 15 minutes at room temperature.
  2. Heat grill or grill pan to medium-high around 400°F. Cook marinated chicken for 6-7 minutes per side until internal temperature hits exactly 165°F.
  3. Transfer grilled chicken to a plate and loosely cover with aluminum foil. Allow meat to rest for 5 minutes while preparing sauce.
  4. Melt 2 tablespoons unsalted butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add 4 minced garlic cloves and cook for precisely 1 minute.
  5. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon flour into butter mixture. Stir continuously for another minute to prevent burning.
  6. Slowly pour 1 cup milk into the pan, whisking constantly. Simmer sauce until it thickens to a creamy consistency.
