Description

Sizzling Texas Roadhouse Salmon delivers restaurant-quality seafood right to your dinner table with simple ingredients and foolproof cooking techniques. Perfectly seasoned and grilled, this salmon turns an ordinary weeknight meal into a delicious restaurant-style feast your family will absolutely devour.

Ingredients

Scale

Proteins:

  • 4 salmon fillets

Main Seasonings:

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Supporting Seasonings:

  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

Garnish:

  • Lemon wedges

Instructions

  1. Whisk 2 tablespoons olive oil, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon onion powder, ½ teaspoon smoked paprika, ½ teaspoon dried parsley, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  2. Transfer 4 salmon fillets to a shallow dish, then completely coat each fillet with the prepared marinade. Cover and refrigerate for 45 minutes to maximize flavor absorption.
  3. Arrange your oven rack in the center position and heat to 400°F. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or lightly coating with cooking spray.
  4. Remove salmon from refrigerator and drain excess marinade. Arrange fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them slightly apart.
  5. Slide the baking sheet into the preheated 400°F oven and cook for 12-14 minutes, checking that salmon easily flakes with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
  6. Remove salmon from oven and let rest for 3 minutes to allow juices to redistribute. Garnish with fresh lemon wedges before serving.

Notes

  • Use fresh salmon fillets with the skin removed for the best texture and even cooking.
  • Marinate the salmon for no more than 2 hours, as the acid in the lemon juice can start to break down the fish’s proteins if left too long.
  • For a crispy exterior, pat the salmon dry with paper towels before baking to remove excess moisture.
  • Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of your salmon fillets, checking for doneness when the fish flakes easily and reaches an internal temperature of 145F.
